How Durex tests its products?

Durex condom is manufactured to meet or exceed all national and international quality standards and regulations. Rigorous statistical process and controls are used to achieve consistent high quality.

Natural rubber latex condoms are electronically tested to ensure their integrity. In addition, condoms from each batch undergo rigorous tests including air burst volume and pressure tests which assess the strengthen of the whole condom; tensile tests determine to determine the strengthen of the material; water tests to check for any holes in the condom film. Approximately 2 million water tests are carried out every month in SSL factories.
