CALLIOPE SPINNING TEA LIGHT HOLDER

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place 1 Tea Light in the round metal base (Figure A).
2. Insert the metal spindle into the base; the pointed end should be facing upward (Figure B)
3. Light the tea light (Figure C).
4. Look inside your shade; there is a small indentation in the center of the top of the shade (Figure D).
5. Place the shade over the base so the point of the spindle is inserted directly into the shades indentation.  DO NOT push too hard on the shade to avoid bending or puncturing (Figure E).
6. The heat generated by the tea light will cause the shade to spin.
7. When your tea light is exhausted remove the shade and replace the tea light by following the instructions above.

CALLIOPE SET UP/CHOOSING A LOCATION

The Calliope should always be placed on a flat surface.  In addition, the tea light should only be burned on a heat resistant surface away from drafts.  NEVER leave your tea light burning unattended.

CANDLE LIGHT MAINTENANCE

To clean the Calliope remove the shade from the base and GENTLY & CAREFULLY wipe with a clean damp non-abrasive cloth.  The base can be cleaned in the same way or with a dust cloth.  NEVER clean with detergent, bleach or other harsh chemicals; doing so will damage the surfaces of these items.

CAUTION

1. Do not leave candle burning unattended.
2. Burn on a heat resistant surface away from drafts.
3. Keep away from children and pets.
4. For best results keep all debris such as wick trimmings and matches out of the wax pool.
5. This item may become hot during use; please allow it to cool completely before handling.
6. Please use caution touching the base while candles are burning.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your candle does not spin after 3-4 minutes please check the following:

1. Be sure the Calliope is on a flat surface
2. The Calliope should be kept away from direct wind, ceiling fans and other sources of air movement that can affect the airflow.
3. Be sure the point (or tip) of the spindle is in the indentation located in the top center of the center of the shade.
