SKD-61/H-46

SKD-61 has been the most popular and perhaps the most versatile hot work tool steel available for many years. It provides a good balance of toughness, heat check resistance and temper resistance, along with moderate wear resistance. It is air hardenable and is used in most applications in the heat treated condition at HRC 44-52. The normal tempering temperatures for Nu-Die V are quite high (>1000°F,540°C), allowing it to retain its heat treated. hardness and strength while in service at elevated temperatures to improved heat check resistance and better transverse toughness. The featuring excellent hot tensile properties, high hot wear resistance, adequate toughness and heat checking resistance; admits water cooling. High shock, hot hardness used for tube maill rolls and shearing hot steel and apply to heavy duty hot work tools and dies, mainly for light alloy processing: mandrels, dies, and containers for metal tube and rod extrusion; hot extrusion equipment; tools and dies for the manufacture of hollow bodies, screws, rivets, nuts and bolts. Hot shear blades and plastic molding dies. Tools used under extreme compressive stresses. Sharpening punches, dies. H13 tool steel can be vacuum hardened and may be water cooled in service.

SKH-2 / T-1

SKH-2 is Tungsten high speed steel with high toughness and good cutting ability. Applied to turning, planning, slotting tools, taps, twist drills, threading dies, profile cutting tools, broaching tools and reamers.

SKH-3 / T-4

SKH-3 offers excellent wear resistance due to a large volume of carbides in the microstructure, better than other high speed steel. It is machinable in the annealed condition and minimal distortion on hardening. Normally apply to high-duty drills, serrated blade and planer process where excellent wear resistance is required.

SKH-4 / T-5

SKH-4 is a kind of high speed tool steel. The hardness of SKH-4 is about 60HRC even when the temperature is 400-500°C. Therefore, SKH-4 is used as high temperature bearing material because of the hardness doesn' t drop at the high temperature.

SKH-9 / M-2 / SKH-51

SKH-9 is general purpose high speed steel, which offer good wear resistance and superior toughness and cutting properties of machine ability. For a wide variety of uses, apply to Taps, twist drills, reamers, broaching tool, metal saws, milling tools of all types, woodworking tools and cold work tools.

SKH-59 / M-42

It's a kind of cobalt molybdenum high speed steel possessing high hardness, excellent cutting properties, high and hardness and good toughness.

CPM REX M-4

CPM REX M4 HC(HS) is a high vanadium special purpose high speed steel exhibiting better wear resistance and toughness than M2 or Ms in cold work punches, die inserts and cutting applications involving high speed and light cuts. The high carbon(HC) modification to standard M4 is designed to provide optimum hardening response in larger cross-section tools or in vacuum or atmosphere heat treating. The high sulfur (HS) modification is standard for larger diameter bars, providing enhanced machinability and grindability. The process produces very homogeneous, high quality steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.

CPM-10V

CPM 10V was the first in the family of high vanadium tool steels made by the particle metallurgy process to provide superior wear resistance while maintaining toughness and fabrication characteristics comparable to D2 and M2. CPM 10V has become recognized world-wide and sets the standard for highly wear resistant industrial tooling. Its exceptional wear resistance and good toughness make it an execellent candidate to replace carbide and other highly wear resistant materials in cold work tooling applications, particularly where tool toughness is a problem or where cost effectiveness can be demonstrated. The process produces very homogeneous, high quality steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness compared.

SCM4

SCM4 is alloyed machinery steel with high strength in small and medium sizes, which is supplied tough hardened requiring no further heat treatment. It can be oil hardened to higher mechanical properties. SCM4 is suitable for flame and induction hardening. It can also be nitirded or tuffrided to a surface hardness of 600-650 Vickers. But not suitable for welding but can with certain precautions be repair welded. Typical applications include shafts and other power transmission components as well as high strength bolts

S50C

S50C is general utility machinery steel for parts requiring wear resistance at low loads. Apply for punch holders(jigs), die holders(fixtures) guide plates (simple bending dies), backing plates (simple structural components)
