Also for some old house,maybe they donot have assorted air switch button to put.So you need to drill a hole for putting our air switch button in (see picture 12),and you can drill the hole on the sink surface anywhere you want.

When pour the waste food into feedernose,you need to cover the disposal lid,then press the air switch button (see picture 13 and 14 )
