Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.- 9 A.C.)

Unearthed at Liu Sheng Tomb, ManCheng, Hebei Province in 1968. It is an oil lamp in the shape of a ram. The back of the ram can be lift up and over to serve as an oil-dish which contains cotton thread.

Jue was a kind of wine vessel in ancient China. The Jue with Animal Face was imitation the Western Shang Dynasty (about 14-11^thcentury BC)cultural relic.
